Leger’s latest survey about COVID-19, conducted in partnership with the Association for Canadian Studies (ACS) and published in The Canadian Press, from March 20-22, 2020 among 1,508 respondents representative of the adult population of Canada reveals that…
- Canadians are more satisfied with the actions taken by their provincial governments (79%) than by the federal government (65%).
- 38% of Canadians say their personal income is affected by the crisis and 27% believe they will not be able to pay all their bills.
- 63% of Canadians think the crisis will last a few months.
The results of this survey may explain the attitude of people going to beaches and looking to have house warming parties. Simply still gathering in large crowds while Global Leadership is broadcasting messages to stay indoors. Stores and business are being ordered close because media outlets like this one are blowing things out of proportion. I know this only sound like 20% of the people in Canada but that same 20% could cause our healthcare system to fail and people to dye. Please listen to the strong advice of World Health Leaders and stay inside so we all can weather this storm alive and healthy.
