I saw this post on social media talking about how Donald Trump has done such a great job at limiting war, ending wars, such things as he has done things to end wars between India and Pakistan, that he has done things to bring about a cease-fire between Israel and Iran, and how he is pushing for the peace between Russia and Ukraine, and what a great job he’s doing, because President Joe Biden could not have done these things. Only Donald Trump could have done it, and why is it that the news isn’t reporting on his success stories in bringing about more peace and bringing war to an end on our planet, bringing about the end of some of the imperialism attitudes that have brought about these wars? Well, here we have it. Okay, so as it turns out, it did this pops up in the in the news recently, that in within the last couple days, as I’m recording this, that Iran, once again fired missiles against Israel, that the peace and cease fire that Donald Trump is talking about may not be so peaceful that Israel and Pakistan, they have quelled the fighting for a little bit, but because of, because the, the actual problem that exists between India and Pakistan, it could pop right back up again, and that, that is this little, little country called Kashmir. In a tug of war over this particular territory for several years, and it keeps the tug of war turns into actual military action. Who, who is has the right to dictate what Kashmir does?
Part of the reason why Iran has launched airports against Israel is over Gaza, which has not been settled yet, that there’s still ongoing tension between Palestine and Israel, and most of it has to do with Palestinians wanting their freedom away from the colonialism that is caught that has caused Israel. Some of these people were in the 1940s their families were sent into sent away from Palestine, and were turned into refugees, sent to Lebanon because they were bringing Jews from the concentration camps as they were being liberated at the end of World War II, into the area to live in what is now a totally, completely Jewish state. It is a government based on Judaism, the same as Iran’s government is based on Islam, the leadership there is Muslim, okay, well, to help quell the idea of Israel, at one point, the United States had negotiated and helped put in place a government In Iran that would was agreeable with Israel, and made Israel and Iran allies. The regime that we’re talking about, that we keep hearing people like Danny Danon talk about, falls away from that friendliness, that there is a directive that asks for the end of the colonialism and helps the Palestinian people get their homes back from night, from the 1940s away from the colonialism that built Israel. It isn’t about necessarily as much about, hey, Palestine, we’re Palestinians. We don’t ever want to share our land with these Jews, because the Palestinians, if you scroll back enough time into the Roman Empire, you discover that there were always Jewish people living in Palestine, because that was a Jewish colony created by the Roman Empire. All right, so we’re, we’re going to hear a lot more about that and other issues, because we’re going to hear from Francine Albanese as she is speaking to be as a special repertoire to the Human Rights Council as part of the United Nations and her ex, she is an expert on what is actually happening between Israel and Palestine and what is happening in the Middle East as far as human rights are concerned. Some of them remember this, that ultimately, what you have when we’re talking about a situation with war, is that a lot of times we have a government that is doing things they’re saying that they’re trying to protect the people, which we could very well be true. We’re not going to we’re not going to dispute that. We are going to dispute that they are always doing things that the people themselves either know about or would agree to. Most people aren’t worried about sending someone to go to Israel, the people in Israel aren’t necessarily in agreement or or are they paying attention to Israel sending troops to Iran is firing missiles back and forth, other than the fact that they can see the missiles being fired back and forth. When you live in a very small country, you get to see a lot of things happening and direct results of these things so but when you get down to it most people on this planet simply want to do is live a good life. Have to be surrounded by those people that they love, and they want to keep those who they love comfortable, safe and healthy, and that’s where the whole idea of human rights comes about. Because once you’re protected, protect those rights so that people in general can have a healthy, safe life with their family and friends and those that they love. So why don’t we move forward? We’re going to hear from Francine Albanese as she talks about the value of human rights in Palestine and Israel.
