As business owners, influencers and community leaders we need to brave up and speak out about social issues and strive to be a kind justice to those who le=ive around us. We are at times the hope guides to those around us. During good times we are the ones who start to cry out to government when things to do not seem fair. So, many times in our societies things such as prejudice, bigotry and injustice find a way into our neighbourhoods. We are the ones who need to speak out. When distractions to what the real issues are or when the path to justice becomes clouded and muddy we need to be the ones to keep the real goal visible so our the people that need to show the light on what is going to make people healthy and well.
Please meet Haroon Khan who is. a successful business person with a real estate Khan Properties in Surrey BC. With his business, he helps keep residents of Surrey BC have a safe home. Haroon is a trust with the Mosque in Vancouver BC Al Jamia Masjid. His family help found this Mosque while focusing on community needs. As human rights activist Haroon help get a government apology for an historic injustice with the tragedy that happened in April of 1914 with the Komagata Maru. This historic ship carried hundreds of people from India trying to escape oppression. Haroon believes that as success comes he should be involved in making sure the community his business serves remains safe and just. Recently when the police are up and the miss handling of mental health and wellness calls is on the rise Haroon called for prayer and peaceful visuals to help find answers and to bring communities together across Canada to find justice and answer that will make our homes safe and keep our loved ones well. As a concerned citizen, he wants to see the best changes for the community so our community can be a wholly just and place that everyone thrives at the top of their potential.
