We all benefit from our community as business owners. We take money from customers and residents live nearby and we offer them products and services in exchange. That exchange is we get to live well within the community. Since we are benefiting from the community we should be a benefit back to the same community. We should join in with our community more than just putting up tables at a bit so we can sell more product. We should go to the community events to share the issues and help determine things that are happening. We should be helping your community to become more diverse SaferAnd accessible to our neighbours and other residents around us. We should be helping our neighbours by our community so that is attractive to Visitors. There is a group in Richmond BCWho is doing exactly what I’m talking about.
Coming Together Richmond
When COVID 19 hit The City of Richmond in British Columbia a group of people saw a need was not being met. Some of the most formal people in the community were not able to get food and other supplies into their homes. So, group, able-bodied residents gather together to volunteer Richmond food bank and began delivering food and groceries to residents in need. As a result, they developed relationships with those people that they met at the doors. They heard fantastic stories around people that they were delivering to. Imagine being able to deliver food to the hopes and dreams of the community to surround you. This is what happens people decided to deliver food and supplies to those who are in need. They have started the Facebook page where are they all talk about what is happening in the community so they can have it for a better community. The volunteers in this group business owners and statements just like you are reading This blog posts. This is just a group of everyday people wanting to come together and build a better community a more accessible community than they already have.
