Sacrifices for Love

In our modern society, we have twisted the definition of words and many things. We have created a world that doesn’t know how to communicate without having a device type the message out and deliver it without us examining what we are saying or even thinking about what the words could mean to the other person. We have video games that teach our children to hate and kill. We talk about objects like they hold all the power and like people themselves are powerless to control what is happening in our lives. I want to talk about how we do have the control but often times we just take the easier path and give our power to something or someone else.

Hatred is an emotion that is taught to us. Sometimes that teaching comes from an outside source but most often it comes from our own fears. Fear itself does often enough get a bump rap we are taught that it is something that we must overcome and that we have to learn to live without it. The funny part is if it was not for fear the human race would have disappeared into extinction many thousands of years ago. Fear has kept us alive and has allowed us to evolve and grow intelligence to the level that we don’t even understand. The same flight or fight response in our brain also cause a monster emotion that is being used to control us. That fear is being used to make us buy things that we may not even desire if a marketing person had not played on the emotion we have to just simply fit in and not go against the crown and trends. When someone looks strange we gang up and tear them down until they conform to look and like to the rest of us. Marketing and control at its worst? Probably not it’s worst because it get a lot worst.

Propaganda is a marketing to that governments use to sell us hatred against what they perceive to be an enemy. We have elected officials making speeches about how a group of people are a threat to our way of life. They use words like evil and ungodly to describe those who do things differently than what we may see in our neighbourhoods. Then outside the government, we have those who hate because they just simply fear anyone who is different. All this has caused some very dangerous patterns in our world today. We have wars that find and recruit children and strap bombs into backpacks and might send a teenager into a subway with the goal of killing as many as possible. We have target shooter play evasion games with the police and we should never forget the mass shooting that happens in malls and schools.

We are seeing on our more about radical people who use religion to hijack our faith and take some that is peaceful and loving and turn it into a reason for hate. Faith is about seeing a vision of peace and beauty and holding it dear to our hearts. We see the vision because we believe and that will also can share that same vision with others without causing harm. At this point are we even sure that our leaders even see this vision of peace where we all can have differences and still all love each as brothers and sisters? We all are created from the same matter and energy. We all have to same capacity for love and intelligence. Lets stop preaching about law and order and build a society that loves and can find tolerance. Let’s create a group of being that talks about disagreements and let’s stop turning weapon of destruction against out brother and sisters.
