Why it is essential that we are honest with each other. When we’re dishonest with each other, we take we cause confusion and we cause hurt and harm that isn’t essential to what we need in life. It is a confusion that leads us away from God’s love in the path that he wants us to be on. In the recording, you’ll hear about a man who causes confusion between himself and everyone he knows because he doesn’t tell the truth. The confusion in the end hurts himself as it hurt everyone else along the way. Because he couldn’t be truthful about what it was he was actually doing. Couldn’t tell the truth about who he was talking to and who he was with who his friends were and who his lovers he caused hurt at every turn when he became ill, he left one behind homeless. Another one was confused trying to figure out why they were doing things the way they were when there was simply an easier path to picking up a U haul, delivering his things to a new home with his son and the son in the end, who will be providing care to his father will eventually need the help to care for him because of what the chronic condition is, and what it does to the mind. See that this man because of his dishonesty caused so much confusion that in the end, it actually hurt him with the condition that he was going to he that he had. He had to memorize too many things, too many stories. When when we have the truth there really is only one continuous story instead of different paths off of the first story to cover up the tracks for what the story really is. We’ve become so busy covering up our tracks that we lose track of what the story really is. And then in the end, when we’re covering up all the tracks and trying to backpedal over things and lead people away from the truth. Do we often lose our own path? Because we forget those who are telling the lies what the truth is, in the end, we want to start off with a reading from Jeremiah 23 and we wanted to cover verse 24. And the whole story was around false prophets. And these false prophets are each of them telling a false narrative was calling causing confusion among the people and God doesn’t want that confusion. God wants us to follow the best path that he provides for us back to him. And that will be using the truth that these false narratives were confusing to people and that they were actually denying the false prophets were denying the people themselves have the word of God. A word filled with kindness and love guidance so that he can provide love and he can provide to all those things that he wants us to have. Okay, so there’s the obvious God, God theme to this, but even if you don’t believe in God, I’m not trying to force you into that narrative. That’s not why we’re here. But I am going to say this. Even if you don’t believe in God, you have to believe that if we always talk to each other and use the truth in a kind of gentle way that we don’t we do less harm to people because there’s confusion and we all can enjoy our lives just that little bit more when the truth is told on all different levels and we don’t try to smoke screens. What is really happening including if we’re a global leader, provincial leader or state leader, or even a municipal leader of people if you’re leading people especially we should be the most truthful and the most honest.
