The Federal Government has introduced many plans to help Canada stay afloat during this Global Pandemic Covid19. The physical distancing and social isolation were based on strong science-based on recommendations from the World Health Organization and Canadian experts Dr Theresa Tam and Dr Bonnie Henry. These measures have strained and shutdown businesses which mean the Government had to slow the economy to a near halt. With the slow economy also mean that people have been put out of work. Canada for years has been living paycheque to paycheque and this means being out work can and will cause evictions and foreclosures to go up without help from the government. Justin Trudeau responded with CERB and wage subsidies to help workers and business weather the storm. Applications are being accepted and people are getting the money needed to survive. Is this going to enough listen to the Press conference to hear what else the government has planned to help us keep the curve down and how business will be done in Canada?
